About the Farm Located near the end of the Oregon Trail at the foot of Mt. Hood, The Oregon Lavender Farm is situated in a district rich in Oregon history. The Barlow segment of the Oregon Trail passes in front of the farm. This segment was built by Sam Barlow as an alternative to the treacherous trek pioneers took fording the Columbia River. Barlow built a toll road over Mt. Hood. |

In 1999, Liberty Natural
Products acquired the 90 acre farm, embarking on lavender growing and
distillation. We have expanded our crops to include clary sage, rosemary,
over 30 medicinal and aromatic herbs. We have also created an aromatic herb
garden complete with a dance floor and stage, which features aromatic herbs
and is used for weddings and special events. On Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27th we will be having our 4th Annual Clackamas County Lavender Festival. It is open to the public and free to attend. Planning of this years lavender festival is underway. Check out the event details periodically to find out about the food, music, and this years participating wineries. Take a tour of our archive of Lavender Festival 2007. The Oregon Lavender Farm is also a participating farm in the Oregon Lavender Festival on July 10-11, 2010. Food and U-pick will be available.
