GENERAL SHIPPING POLICIES:
shipping rates are calculated directly from our
shipping carriers based on the dimensions, weight, travel distance and value of
each package. We have maintained the lowest possible prices of our products for
our customers and continue to do so without subsidizing the cost of the shipping
within our product pricing. Customers are responsible for published shipping
costs based on the carrier and service they select.

know when placing your order.
Liberty Natural must be notified of shipment errors
within 30 days of receipt. At this time determination of how to correct the
shipment will be made.
Liberty Natural is not responsible for refunding the cost of shipping on any orders that are delayed for reasons outside of our control.
We strive to have orders shipped within two business days from the date an order was placed. Occasionally additional processing time is needed. Liberty Natural cannot expedite shipping free of charge if a delay occurs. Please notify our sales representatives if you are in need of a product by a certain time. They can assist you in determining the best shipping option and if a same day order is needed.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery
address is correct. Liberty Natural is not responsible for packages delivered to
an address that was not accurately input or updated.
ADDITIONAL HANDLING CHARGES:
Shipment of all fixed oils, distillate waters and butters that are filled in 5 gallon buckets/pails, will incur additional handling charges. Items shipped via UPS or FedEx in 5 gallon or larger buckets/pails will have additional shipping charges of $15.00 per bucket/pail. (01.01.2020)
This additional handling charge also applies to essential oils filled in large (20-25lb) metal canisters. To relieve our customers of the full expense of the UPS and FedEx additional handling charge, our policy is to box these canisters. We do charge a $4.00 per canister fee for this service.
DAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN SHIPMENTS:
Unfortunately, damage in transit sometimes occurs. Please contact as soon as
damages are discovered so that a claim may be expedited and we can assist with
fulfilling your order in a timely manner. The shipping method of the
replacement order is determined on a case by case basis.
Liberty Natural and its shipping carriers are not responsible for theft, damage or missing contents that occur to any parcel after successful delivery to the correct address.
If you’re not able to have your packages securely delivered, we recommend having your order shipped to your office, or store/post office for pick up. You can also schedule a UPS delivery for a time convenient for you or request a signature upon delivery for an additional $5.25.
Domestic orders are shipped via
UPS Ground, unless requested otherwise by customer at the time the order is
placed. For UPS delivery times please refer to the map below, indicating the
estimated number of weekdays for ground shipping.
International orders are shipped UPS, unless requested otherwise by customer at the time the order is placed. Please indicate shipping preference when ordering: UPS Worldwide Expedited, UPS Worldwide Express Saver, UPS Worldwide Express, USPS International Priority, DHL or FedEx.
Liberty Natural does not have daily FedEx pickups, and must be scheduled in advance. Due to this, orders shipping FedEx require an additional business day of processing time.
Freight orders ship using UPS Freight unless requested otherwise. Using carriers outside of UPS Freight or through a broker may result in shipping delays. LTL freight is not a guaranteed service and we cannot issue refunds for delivery or service delays.
At the time of placing your order, please provide delivery details including dock hours, a phone contact for delivery location, and if a lift gate service is needed.
Any additional services such as a redelivery attempt or lift gate needed not disclosed at the time of placing your order will be billed to your account, or the card used when your order was placed.
DANGEROUS GOODS SHIPPING GENERAL INFORMATION:
Orders containing dangerous goods may experience additional processing time, exceeding 2 business days.
Most orders containing dangerous goods will ship with absorbent material per shipping regulations.
DANGEROUS GOODS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
At this time we are able to ship most dangerous goods to Canada via UPS Canadian Standard. In addition, we can ship dangerous goods in excepted quantities by air internationally. Regulations allow for up to 33oz of dangerous goods products per box, products must be purchased in the 1oz or F size or smaller.
Dangerous goods shipments above this excepted quantity threshold are subject to dangerous goods fees from UPS and FedEx. The fees range from a minimum of $42.75-153.50 per box/shipment. This fee is in addition to shipping charges. We will update our website as soon as we are able to ship these larger quantities of dangerous goods.
USPS DANGEROUS GOODS
USPS strictly prohibits the shipment of dangerous goods internationally. We are only able to accommodate international dangerous goods orders through UPS.
Orders shipping domestically that contain dangerous goods must be shipped via USPS Parcel Select Ground Service. Priority shipping is allowable in certain sample size orders only. Please note, your order may be broken up into several boxes due to regulations regarding quantities allowed per box. Quantities allowed per box vary by the flash points of oils and classification of the product.
Per regulations, we can ship up to 32oz of our tinctures in a single box USPS Parcel Select.
shipping to Alaska or Hawaii via USPS Parcel Select may take 3-6 weeks for
Dangerous goods quantities purchased above 33oz can be shipped through a dangerous goods repacker. Contact us for a list of repackers frequently used by our customers.
note, you are responsible for the shipping costs to the repacker, repacking
fees, as well as any other arrangements. Liberty Natural is not responsible for
damages, lost packages, or other issues that occur between the repacker and
delivery address. We must be notified at the time of placing your order that
you are using repacker.
Liberty Natural strives to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum by using materials such as Geami WrapPak, starch packing peanuts and K-Sorb® absorbent to protect your items through the shipping process.
Geami WrapPak is a reusable,
recyclable and compostable paper alternative to plastic bubble wrap. Our packing
peanuts are corn and potato starch based, manufactured locally and 100%
compostable and dissolvable in water.
Most dangerous goods products are
packed with an absorbent required by shipping regulations. Liberty Natural uses
K-Sorb® which is manufactured from recycled cellulose fiber. It is a
non-carcinogenic and a low dust alternative to vermiculite.
You may occasionally find our products packed with less sustainable materials, such as plastic bubble wrap, Styrofoam peanuts or vermiculite. These products are often being reused and are not our regularly used materials.
